Charlie James Gallery unveils an exhibition of new works by Los Angeles-based artist Estefania Ajcip. Titled Folded Memories, this is the artist’s first exhibition with the gallery. The solo show spotlights the immigrant experience via relationships as well as community.

Mid City
David Kordansky Gallery brings us two new exhibitions. First a massive group show titled Tom’s Stretch featuring over seventy artists. The artists all put their spin on Tom of Finland’s radical ability to imagine a physique—and a world—that did not yet exist in popular culture. Also a solo exhibition of recent paintings titled Persona Works by South Korean artist Moka Lee will be celebrated. While this is the artist’s first exhibition with the gallery, it is also her first solo exhibition in the United States. Grangeville continues its run at the Ruskin Group Theatre. Written by Samuel D. Hunter and directed by John Perrin Flynn, Tim Cummings and Jeff LeBeau step into the lead characters in Grangeville. They play estranged half-brothers who are forced to reconnect due to their aging mother. While one lives in Grangeville, the other lives in Amsterdam,Grangeville deals with love, suffering, and the not so easy road to forgiveness.
