A second art talk for the weekend takes place today at Matter Studio Gallery. This one features artist Venus Bernardo. The discussion will happen in conjunction with the artist’s current exhibition titled A Matter of Perspective at the gallery. Bernardo specialized in portrait photography as well as documentaries. Santa Monica
Grangeville has extended its run to August 2, 2026, and therefore will continue at the Ruskin Group Theatre. Written by Samuel D. Hunter and directed by John Perrin Flynn, Tim Cummings and Jeff LeBeau step into the lead characters in Grangeville. They play estranged half-brothers who are forced to reconnect due to their aging mother. While one lives in Grangeville, the other lives in Amsterdam,Grangeville deals with love, suffering, and the not so easy road to forgiveness.

As part of its City of West Hollywood presents 2026 Summer Sounds Free Outdoor Concert Series, Weho invites the public enjoy Nikka Costa and DJ Anthony Valadez. Performer Nikka Costa, daughter of well known producer Don Costa, is back by popular demand. DJ Anthony Valadez is most known for his 15 years at KCRW and as host of KROQ’s Latin Alternative program, Alternalido.
