Live Talks Los Angeles presents an in-person & virtual event on Monday, January 9, 2023, 8pm. Enjoy Jerry Saltz in conversation with Irwin Miller discussing his book, “Art Is Life: Icons and Iconoclasts, Visionaries and Vigilantes, and Flashes of Hope in the Night.” This talk is presented in association with New Roads School. From the Pulitzer Prize winner and bestselling author of How to Be an Artist: a deliciously readable survey of the art world in turbulent times. 

Jerry Saltz is the senior art critic at New York magazine and its entertainment site Vulture, and the author of the New York Times bestseller How to Be an Artist. In 2018 he was awarded the Pulitzer Prize for Criticism.

Irwin Miller is an award-winning designer, artist and thought leader who has worked in the design industry for over 25 years with a focus of architecture and interior design.
