Montana Ave hosts a Halloween Hop from 3:00pm – 6:00pm. Numerous Merchants will be part or this event! The Ten Women Gallery is participating as well and will be offering candy and treats! This is a great time to do some early shopping for the holidays. Buy original art at Ten Women Gallery. If you’ve never been be sure to stop in. This vibrant artist’s co-operative gallery showcases 24 local women artists.

The Haunted Hayride celebrates its sixth year. LA Art Party has listed this month-long haunted attraction for the past several years…it’s exciting to see it has been getting lots of attention (I saw it mentioned on the Today show – NBC) – NICE!

The event is held on the old grounds of the Los Angeles Zoo. The extended trail returns for the 2013 event, with new maze, reworked from top to bottom.

So even if you attended last year, you won’t be prepared for this 25 minutes of terror! This year the attraction takes it to a new level not seen before in haunted attractions. Located in Griffith Park. The event has been open since October 3 and continues through Halloween….Oct 31.

In West Hollywood…

Time for the annual West Hollywood Halloween stre2014-WHollywd-Halloweenet party. Each year, hundreds of thousands of people take to the streets of Santa Monica Boulevard to enjoy the craziest, most eccentric costume creations ever.

Admission is free. The event starts at 6 p.m. and runs until 11 p.m.

The event is open to all ages event, and no alcohol will be allowed on the street. However, many of the bars and lounges along Santa Monica Blvd. will be selling alcohol and hosting Halloween parties.

In Santa Monica…

The 2nd annual Santa Monica Zombie Crawl wiOCT31-ZombieCrawlll bring out the undead on Halloween night for a chilling bar crawl in the heart of the city. Starting on the Santa Monica Pier at 7 p.m., crawlers will moan and growl their way through the city for spooky drink and food specials all night at participating locations with the official pub crawl wristband.

Wristbands will give crawlers access to drink specials like $4 drafts, $5 wells and $5 shots at more than five local bars and restaurants, and entrance into the Official Zombie Crawl After Party. The zombies will collide at Wokcano for WOK-ing Dead, the official Zombie Crawl after party, with costume contests, prizes and more.

Participants must follow specific Zombie Crawl rules to get through the streets: keep an authentic zombie appearance, keep arms extended outward, drag a limb and deliver vicious snarls and moans without talking. Makeup artists from Toni & Guy Hairdressing Academy will be at the starting location to help zombie-fy attendees with free zombie make-up and special effect services.
