Unpiano Books is pleased to announce the March 27th 2015 release of a book of artwork from San Francisco artist Joe Roberts surveying the last ten years.

Joe Roberts has worked as an artist in San Francisco for the last decade. His mixed media work has been released in various formats over the years and been shown nationwide to great acclaim.

The tenth imprint from Unpiano Books is a curated survey of his career thus far in the form of a softbound 200- page book featuring new full color reproductions of his work. As an independent publisher, Unpiano Books aims to support and promote lesser-known artists with specialized small-run releases both lo- cally and across the country.

In Santa Monica…

Kat & the Blues Hounds are BACK for another performance at Sonny McLean’s Irish Bar from 9:00 pm – 12:30 am.

Tonight’s show will feature guest guitarist and singer Greg Cruz. I promise to get him to do his “Johnny Cash”…he’s incredible. So this will be a fun gig…it’s going to be a mash-up of blues, swing, and a little country…all with sax, guitar and more. We will have several guests sitting in, such as Juri Koll on harmonica. This month we have amazing lineup….trumpet player, Bruce Friedman will be joining us along with our regular crew…Greg Cruz on guitar, John Wiemken on bass, Rick Bryan on Drums, with Lucky Wright on sax…and of course me…Kathy Leonardo – vocals.

If you’ve never been to this funky Irish Bar, you will love it…its located at 2615 Wilshire Blvd., in Santa Monica…FREE music all night and the Food is fantastic!
