1.13 VeniceAleHousV TapTonight at 5:00 pm the =V= (The Venice Ale House Brewing Company) launches Venice Beach’s First Craft Beer: Venice Hi Hop Extra Pale Ale. If you haven’t been to the Venice Ale House, yet, Tom Elliott & Spoon Singh, have made quite a splash on the Venice boardwalk with this trendy, hot spot, serving organic, local & sustainable food & beverage.

Add to that  latest endeavor, craft brewing, with the introduction of Venice Hi Hop XPA. Mr. Singh, founder of Kona Brewing Company, (Longboard Lager, Fire Rock Pale Ale, Pipeline Porter), has ample craft brewing experience, and has put together an excellent ale to be sold exclusively at The Venice Ale House.

Just stopped in to taste it myself and I will say it’s delicious. I am not a big beer person, but it really is quite tasty. Have a burger while you are there, really good burgers…lamb, turkey, beef.

HVlogoere’s their description of it…Venice Hi Hop XPA is light in color, quite dry and very hoppy. Its essence of apricots & raspberries come straight from the hops. Crispy malts balance the bitter. High on hop, yet not over the top, this beer is built
for seaside sipping. It’s light with a bite.

Be sure to stop by tonight for a festive launch starting at 5:00 pm. Enjoy the sunset, with your pale ale. A great start to any weekend. The launch continues till Sunday. The Venice Ale House is located at 2 Rose Ave., right on the boardwalk; 323.573-4712; http://venicealehouse.com/
