February 2025 Art Parties
Well its the last days of February 2025, and the art parties and events are still happening despite last weekend’s busy LA Art Week. For Thursday and Friday, we have included a fundraiser, in addition to ICA LA’s three day community event, as well as a Venice locals happy hour, some theater, and live comedy too.
Thursday, February 27, 2025
Tappan Collective hosts a special fundraiser exhibition. Titled A Show of Support, this exhibition supports our artists and the city we call home. With over 80 of their works on display, Tappan has set up ways to give back at the opening event as well as hroughout the run.

The group show benefits organizations helping those affected by the fires in Los Angeles. Tappan and its artists have committed to donating a portion of the proceeds from works featured in the show and sold throughout the exhibition. In addition, artist Claire Salvo created 2 special works dedicated to some of the historic businesses that were tragically lost, with 100% of the proceeds to be donated from prints sold. The Bolsky Gallery at Otis
In Westchester…The Bolsky Gallery at the Otis College of Art and Design presents the thesis exhibition of Priscilla Mondo. Metabolic Fictions the Master of Fine Arts candidate’s solo show explores the dualities of destruction and rebirth. While the installation utilizes discarded materials to create exceptional sculptures, it therefore questions the impact we as a society have on the earth.

LA Theatre
In Los Feliz…Visit the Skylight Theatre to enjoy a new play by Margot Rose is directed by Anne Kenny; Unconditional, A Musical Memoir presented by Findawayhome Ink is a true story. In Westwood…The Geffen Playhouse, and Steppenwolf Theatre Company present NOISES OFF at the Gil Cates Theater. This hysterical British farce written by Michael Frayn is directed by Anna D. Shapiro. Happy Hour

ICA LA invites the community to a three-day convening titled Reckoning and Repair. The event will be held in conjunction with its current exhibition Scientia Sexualis.
