The Music Center will bring its highly popular, free Dance DTLA back to its Plaza “home” to celebrate the official grand opening of The Music Center Plaza. Don’t forget tomorrow is the official Opening and Plaza For All Celebration. The entire weekend (starting on Thursday August) will celebrate the new plaza renovation. That will be the final commencement event to recognize the Music Center’s new plaza – that event is a Top Ten Pick and takes place tomorrow – CLICK HERE for more info; 

Dance DTLA event taking place on August 30 is the closing night, and a great time to enjoy the new Music Center Plaza. Just in case you have missed it, this series has been running for fifteen years. This year it kicked off in June, so you won’t want to miss the final event. It’s Cumbia night at The Music Center Plaza, and it is part of the Plaza Grand Opening Weekend Celebration.

For this special night, event-goers can dance the night away in Grand Park, at Walt Disney Concert Hall and on the Music Center Plaza, which will remain open until midnight! Come out and celebrate the end of the summer dancing fun!
