“Sexy Beast Group Art Show,” curated by Elizabeth Rowin opens at the Hive Gallery & Studios on August 4, 2018. Everyone loves animals – from adorable baby kittens to sexually aggressive dolphins. “Sexy Beast” explores the taboo intersection of animals and sexuality, from “Eve and the Snake” to “The Shape of Water.”

The show features over 100 talented artists in a variety of media, from painting and sculpture, to needlepoint and 3D lenticular, to taxidermy and anatomically correct rubber vaginas. Artists include: Manuel Ocampo, Anthony Ausgang, Nathan Cartwright, Ted Blackman, Maryrose CrookPaul Carpenter, Steve Casino, Gump Michael, Radhika Hersey, Stephen Holman, Stacy Lande, Ethan Spaulding, and many more.
