Downtown…Hospital of Emotions is an unusual installation located inside a former wing of St. Vincent Medical Center. Presented by House of Art and Dreams, ROYVA Group, and also St. Vincent Behavioral Health Campus, it transformed one of Los Angeles’ most historic hospital sites into a fully immersive, large-scale art experience.Read more about it on the Hospital of Emotions Feature.

Gagosian debuts Seeing Through: Jia Aili’s Parallel Paintings. This is the artist’s first solo exhibition of new works at the Beverly Hills location since the 2019’s exhibition – Combustion in New York. John Baldessari: Sculptures opens at Sprüth Magers. Known mosts for his paintings, and photo collages this solo show will explore his sculptures.

Downtown…Charlie James Gallery throws an opening art party for The Perez Bros’: Lookout Weekend. This is the second exhibition for the two twin brothers Alejandro and Vicente Perez. The duo offers new collaborative paintings. The exhibition focuses on LA’s lowrider car culture, and also includes one of their largest works to date. The panoramic view captures the community beyond the cars, solidifying both the car show and the exhibition as a gathering place for one of LA’s most iconic subcultures.
