Gabba Gallery and Relix debut Echoes of Gen X: The Art of The Fillmore (1980s–2000s). The exhibition is a visual time capsule of one of live music’s most beloved eras. It features legendary concert art created for the historic Fillmore in San Francisco.
Gabba Relix The Filmore

As one of the most influential music venues in American history, The Fillmore hosted incredible bands who became legends. Thus allowing concert art to became part of California’s culture. The group show features rare dead-stock gig prints and original Fillmore ephemera. These art pieces have been hidden from the public all these years. The artwork spotlights the visual language of post-grunge, alternative, indie rock, early hip-hop, metal, dance, as well as emo. This concert art was never sold to the public.
Additionally, the artwork pays tribute to 1,000+ concerts taking place at The Fillmore from the late 1980s-2000s. Moreover the exhibition honors the iconic venue’s early days with a curated selection of vintage ephemera from the 1960s and 1970s.
