In Mid CityThe Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) is open all weekend AND on Labor Day (Mon., Sept. 1). It features a variety of exhibitions. First pop into LACMA’s BCAM building Level 1.  Here you can find another stunning installation by Richard Serra. Band  (2006) may qualify as Richard Serra’s magnum opus, representing the fullest expression of the formal vocabulary proffered by his monumental steel arcs and torqued ellipses of the 1980s and 1990s.
