Head downtown for a dance party. The Music Center hosts a special spring edition of its popular free Friday night summer dance party series. Dance DTLA was designed as a way to unify Angelenos through the universal language of dance and music in the wake of the devastating wildfires.

The event takes play in the Music Center’s Walt Disney Concert Hall. The first-ever springtime Dance DTLA will showcase a variety of dance genres highlighting L.A.’s rich cultural diversity, from the rhythms of salsa and reggaeton, to the soulful groove of funk and the pulse of Afrobeats. Attendees will enjoy free, easy-to-follow beginner lessons by top L.A. dance instructors and two different dance floors to practice moves. The energy of the music and movement will help to heal as well as celebrate our city alongside fellow Angelenos. Food and beverages will be available for purchase onsite; guests may bring their own food and non-alcoholic beverages to be consumed in designated areas only. No outside alcohol, outdoor chairs or portable tables permitted. Dance Party: 7-10pm; RSVP for FREE Dance DTLA tickets on the website. The Music Center’s Walt Disney Concert Hall, 111 S.
