South Bay’s Photographic and Digital Artists group (PADA) presents a major group show from September 1 – 30, 2023 at Crafted at the Port of Los Angeles.

PADA Group Show 2023
The exhibition is titled Falling Light: Photographs for a New Season. The group show will feature recent work by over 20 of PADA’s best artists in a variety of media.

Open Friday to Sunday, 12-6pm, at 112 E. 22 St in San Pedro, Crafted is easily accessible. Follow the signs to PADA once in the building. In addition to the gallery show, the Crafted warehouse has dozens of LA artists and craftspeople worth checking out. There is also an added bonus of the neighboring Brouwerij West craft brewery.
About PADA
Photographic and Digital Artists (PADA) is an artist collective comprised of professionals who specialize in photo based art. As one of the eight artists’ groups associated with the Palos Verdes Art Center, PADA strives for creative exploration and excellence. The group achieves this through idea-sharing, technique critiques, guest speaker engagements, as well as participation in exhibitions, workshops, etc. Active participation ensures a mutually rewarding association.
PADA members approach photographic art in diverse ways, spanning from traditional darkroom-produced black-and-white prints to digitally crafted images. This spectrum includes light painting, scanner photography, collage, and mixed media, always rooted in photography as an art form. Their professional backgrounds encompass education, journalism, psychology, engineering, computer science, medicine, and fine art and commercial photography. Thus the diversity fuels their collective imagination.
Palos Verdes Art Center has a rich tradition of affiliated artists’ groups, but PADA, founded in 2006, filled a niche by focusing on fine art photography. Find out more on the website –
