On February 17, 2023, Make Room celebrated the opening of a second gallery space where it joins neighbors Marian Goodman, Jeffrey Deitch, Regen Projects, and the rest of the growing art community in the heart of Hollywood.

The new 4500 square foot space gallery opened during Frieze Los Angeles Art Week with two solo exhibitions by Mexican painter Yoab Vera and Chinese-born, New York-based artist Yesiyu Zhao.

With a wooden bow truss roof, multiple exhibition spaces, and an outdoor courtyard for gathering, the new building will allow the gallery to expand its program and experiment with new kinds of exhibition formats. Make Room prides itself on providing a thoughtful space where a new generation of collectors and institutions are given the opportunity to support the vanguard of contemporary art. The new space will facilitate the gallery’s dynamic program, which includes both solo and group exhibitions as well as an on-site artist residency program.
