If you like to dance or need to work off some of those extra pounds that all of us are gaining (I can’t stop baking). Dance it away. Let it all go and learn “The Let Go” line dance! Choreographed by Francesca Harper specifically for Nick Cave’s “The Let Go” back in 2018. CLICK HERE to get your groove on.

CLICK HERE to learn more about the conceptual artist Nick Cave, as he discusses his Park Avenue Armory installation “The Let Go,” a town hall-inspired dance hall that is part performance, part immersive experience, part dance party. His installation was scheduled to take place this month at Navy Pier in Chicago, but was canceled due to the Covid-19 crisis.

The performances are free but you can also donate, which is always nice for these out-of-work dancers. Enjoy a beautiful stairway dance by Sarah Richman, Teddy Todholm, Cameron Dunham, or you may like some poetry by Kristalyn Gill, and more.

Alvin Ailey also has some online performances to enjoy, and dance classes too. Check out the feature on LAArtParty.comHERE. You can find it on the Upcoming Page – under the Performances drop-down. Or click on the Performance/Literary Events on the Home Page.
