“The Music in Art Exhibition” takes place on Friday, August 17, AND Saturday, August 18, 2018 from 5-9pm. This special multiple venue event and exhibition was the brainchild of Randy Ball, owner of Blue 7 Gallery and its gallery director, Lucius Peterson. The two both love art and music and thought it would be a great way to celebrate it.
Additional venues such as the Unurban Coffee House, The Upper West and McCabe’s guitar Shop will all participate. Peterson said, he was looking forward to collaborating with the Unurban Coffee House once again. They have previously exhibited the art of members of the Blue 7 Gallery and Collective.
David Klein (see image) participated in his first show at Blue 7 Gallery in November 2017, explaing Randy and Lucius were great to work with. “I like them both as people quite a lot. I feel i can ask them for advice which is good.” Klein has been creating since he was quite young. “I mainly work in oils and ink. I come from a comic book background so do a lot of figurative and facial drawings. I love drawing!” Klein will have work at both the Blue 7 Gallery and the UnUrban Coffee House. On Saturday night, he will also be performing with his trio at the UnUrban.
Additional artists iclude: Randy Ball, Irina Chelyapov, David Kleiin, Terry Marks Tarlow, Lark Pilinsky, Lucius Peterson, Ronen Pollak, Eugene Vishnevsky, Lisa Wald, and many more.
